Joni Welling Scholarship Fund

Joni Welling was a loyal friend and faithful servant to the Lord and to our Ao1 community. Joni served the students of Ao1 as lead make-up mom for many sessions, and when her wonderful daughter, Taylor graduated, Joni did not. She stayed on and continued to bring joy to our Ao1 community by sharing her special talents for hair, make-up, and loving people with our current families. There will be a giant hole at Ao1 and in our hearts that will never be filled because there was no one quite like Joni. She's the brightest light, the biggest smile, the funniest laugh, the warmest hug, the kindest word, the friendliest encouragement, the wittiest humor, and the biggest heart. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

 

Joni had not only a passion for the theatre, but she had a passion for youth theatre. She loved nothing more than to help young actors in their endeavor of putting on a show. Through the Joni Welling Scholarship Fund, Audience of One can carry on her powerful legacy by helping young people find their light through the theatre.
